Nuclear charge distribution effect on the shape for some even-even nuclide

Author(s):

Murtadha S Nayyef

Abstract:

This work purposes to study the correlation the shape of the isotones that even mass number (A=46-62), and (A= 164-182) with the nuclear charge distribution.

The values of quadruple deformation parameter (β2) and eccentricity (e) have been calculated as indicator for the varying in the nucleus form and for compare have been plotted the change of the (β2) and (e) with mass number for the isotones with even mass number (A=46-62), and (A= 164-182).

The value of (β2) have been calculated by dependence on value of "quadruple transition probability B (E2)", while the value of (e) computed by dependence on the values of "the minor (a) and major (b)". The values of (a&b) calculated by dependence on values of the "mean-squared charge distribution radius average (< r2 >) ", quadruple deformation parameter (δ) and electric quadrupole moment (Q0).

Three dimension (3D) have been plotted for the isotones with even mass number (A=46-62), and (A= 164-182) for identify the change in forms of nucleus by dependence on the values of (a&b).
