Abstract:

This research paper deals with a study about the effect of Dealing with patients undergoing X-ray examinations. The results showed a discrepancy in the level of knowledge among nurses, as knowledge was high for some, while it was weak for others. It was found that the level of education and continuing training plays a major role in determining the extent of nurses’ knowledge of preventive measures, such as using protective clothing and adhering to safety distances. The research concluded through the results obtained that training and education programs for nurses need to be improved to ensure a high level of knowledge and competence in caring for patients who undergo diagnostic X-ray studies. The research aims to enhance awareness about the risks associated with radiation, and researchers are recommended to provide regular training courses covering the latest guidelines and standards in this field. The researchers hope that the consequences for this research will contribute to improving the quality of health care provided to patients and enhancing their safety while receiving x-ray diagnostic services.
