This study investigates the structural and optical properties of titanium dioxide (TiO2) and zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) doped TiO2 thin films, prepared using screen printing method Structurally characterized through X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) influences the crystallinity, morphology, and optical behaviour of TiO2 thin films. Optical properties, assessed via UV-Vis spectroscopy, showed significant changes in absorbance and transmittance spectra, with a noticeable impact on the band gap of the films. The findings demonstrate that ZrO2 doping can significantly improve the properties of TiO2, making it more suitable for applications in photocatalysis, sensors, and photovoltaic devices. This research highlights that ZrO2-doped TiO2 thin films are enhancing the efficiency and performance of various optoelectronic devices.
