Cross coherence is a method used to study the correlation between any two signals recorded from brain. Different tasks can be used to stimulate the brain and simultaneously EEG is used to record brain response as time lock to the stimulation. Scintillation grid illusion picture is used to stimulate the brain and brain response is extracted. As well, the cross coherence analysis is applied to study the differences different age groups (young and matured) between central and temporal lobes. The coherence is compared between age groups in the time and frequency domain. The result report a late brain response with a peak appear stronger in the matured age groups after 500 ms of onset of stimulation. However, the coherence result show a significant difference in the coherence value. This important finding reflect the brain development, maturity level and the ability of decision making in the adult age.
