Abstract:

In this work daily average values of the Dst, CRI, Kp, AE and electron flux have been studied. We investigate their association by studying the correlation coefficient between them during the starting phase of the solar cycle 24 i.e. during 2009-2014. To do this, we conducted a Chree analysis or the superposed-epoch analysis. A transient decrease is found in CRI on the occurrence day of geomagnetic storm, and this decrease shows a similar pattern to that of the Dst.
